Does 4G sim Card works on all 3G phones ?
Someone asked me - Does Airtel 4G sim Work on my 3G phone. Then I replied her - I will answer your question in my next post (next mean this one post).
If you too wanna know then read this post till the last. So let me come to the point ๐ and start the topic ➡
And my answer is yes its Definitely Work.
All the 4G services currently provided by Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and Aircel in India are backward compatible to the technology, means they also support 3G and 2G services, if the latter one network is not present.
So you will experience a 3G network, if the 4G sim is put in 3G phone.
You remain connected to the network, depending upon the availability of the network. If 4G network is available and a 4G phone is used, it will get latched to 4G network. If instead of that, 3G or 2G are only available then you will experience that.
However, that’s about the current 4G service providers.
Reliance Jio 4G services when launched will be providing only 4G services and no backward compatibility. That means, you need a 4G enabled phone and if there is no 4G network you will get no network.
“Either you get it all or don’t get any.” :P that's all I know ๐. But the answer of her question is - "don't uh worry Airtel 4g sim will work on 3g phone " ๐๐
